IMEG-designed project wins SEAOI Excellence in Structural Engineering Award of Merit
The IMEG-designed College of Lake County Student Center in Waukegan, IL, has won an Award of Merit in the 2023 Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards competition from the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI).
IMEG provided structural engineering design services for the new 62,692-sf student center and the renovation of 4,665-sf of existing building space. The building houses a library, community meeting space, welcome center, classrooms, labs, testing rooms, tutoring center, and flexible community spaces overlooking Lake Michigan. The project is pursuing LEED Platinum certification.
