Classroom Renovation
IMEG provided IECC 2012 commissioning services for the 43,850-sf Palmer College Classroom Building Renovation. The project included updates to the Learning Commons, a new staircase inspired by the human spine, and classrooms.
IMEG used the online software CxAlloy to manage documentation related to the project, including collection of reports generated by contractors regarding the field quality control and startup activities required by the specifications. We performed rigorous functional testing to verify system performance, with all issues identified posted promptly
to CxAlloy for resolution by the appropriate party. IMEG interfaced with the entire team to coordinate any required communication between the owner, IMEG design team members, and construction team so that issues could be resolved.
Numerous building control issues were identified and IMEG worked closely with the controls contractor to confirm systems were programmed properly and operating as required.
