IMEG awards individual scholarships of up to $10,000 to multiple students nationwide who are pursuing a degree in engineering. Scholarships are available to students in the 2027-2028 academic year who are sophomores, juniors, and seniors that have great potential and have financial need.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements and Guidelines:

  • Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Applicant must demonstrate financial need
  • Applicant must be pursuing an engineering degree
  • Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student, and either a sophomore, junior or senior in the fall of 2027
  • Applicant may not be currently employed at IMEG, or related to an IMEG employee
  • A second letter of recommendation is required from a different source than the one submitted on the general application.

Qualifications: 

  • Applicant must be at least a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in the fall of 2027
  • Applicant must be pursuing a degree in one of the following eligible fields:
    • Preferred Degree Programs: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Structural Engineering
    • Other Eligible Degree Programs: Air Conditioning, Refrigerating, Heating and Ventilating Engineering Technology, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology, Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Surveying and Geomatics Engineering, or Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Technology
  • Applicant must have financial need
  • Applicant must be a U.S. citizen
