Kirk Harman named a Fellow by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat
IMEG Client Executive and Managing Principal Kirk Harman, PE, SE, SECB, FACI, has been named a Fellow of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. CTBUH Fellows are recognized for their contribution to the Council over an extended period of time and in recognition of their work and the sharing of their knowledge in the design and construction of tall buildings and the urban habitat.
With nearly 45 years of experience as a structural engineer, Kirk has led The Harman Group, now IMEG, in its introduction of high-rise residential and hotel towers using structural steel. During this time, Kirk and his Philadelphia-based team have completed visionary, award-winning projects that have advanced healthcare and education systems, government/office workplaces, multi-family living, entertainment venues, parking facilities, and more.
Kirk is a member of the CTBUH Philadelphia Chapter, which he currently serves as president. He also belongs to the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Council of Structural Engineers Association, the Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers, the Structural Engineers Association of Pennsylvania, and the American Institute of Steel Construction, which earlier this year honored him with its Lifetime Achievement Award
Kirk and other accomplished recipients will be honored at the CTBUH Conference in November.
