Palmer College of Chiropractic has opened a new academic building, “Building 4,” on its Florida campus. The college needed more space to accommodate increasing enrollment.

The $12.8 million, 47,000-sf greenfield building includes four high-tech classrooms, four technique labs, an anatomy lab, and virtual- and augmented-reality learning tools.

IMEG provided structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, technology, security, audio/visual and telecommunications engineering design services and commissioning services. The project included expanding the existing central chilled water plant and new electrical distribution.

Construction was completed in 2022.
