Campus Redevelopment
IMEG provided civil engineering and survey services for the Wahler Campus Redevelopment for Achievement Preparatory Academy. The new elementary school, built in two phases, included a new 52,000-sf building followed by the renovation of the existing 45,000-sf school building. IMEG prepared full civil site plans until permit approval. Tasks included new utility design, new parking lot layout, site drainage, complex grading, sediment control, stormwater management and traffic control.
IMEG also prepared the Green Area Ratio (GAR) plan and calculations, along with extensive on-site stormwater management. The project provided additional stormwater management measures on-site, well above DOEE regulations. The project obtained a large portion of additional, certified on-site Stormwater Retention Credits (SRCs) that may be used for future site(s) and/or traded on DOEE’s SRC trading program. Services also included construction administration, a tree location survey, and an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey
