Multiple Engineering Projects for Hospital
IMEG is providing engineering design for several projects at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix, ranked the No. 1 hospital in Arizona by U.S. News & World Report.
Mayo Clinic Hospital opened in the fall of 1998 and is the first hospital designed and built by Mayo Clinic. The seven-story facility has 268 licensed beds with 21 operating rooms, an emergency room, a transplant center, and a full-service clinical laboratory. It also offers diagnostic imaging, noninvasive heart tests, and lung testing services. It serves patients from Arizona, the U.S., and around the world.
IMEG is providing services for these current projects at the hospital:
- 13,000-sf Physicians’ Office Building Renovation: $1.3M. This project consists of a remodel of the existing child care facility into a primary care physician’s office building. Services provided: MEP design and construction support
- New IR-2 Biplane: $1M. This project adds a new biplane imaging machine to the existing Interventional Radiology Suite. Services provided: MEP and fire protection design, construction support
- OR #10 and #14 Refurbishment: $390,000. Services provided: MEP design and construction support
- OR #11 Renovation: $250,000. Services provided: MEP design and construction support
- 1,225-sf Volunteer/Pharmacy Office Relocation: $221,000. Services provided: MEP and fire protection design, construction support
- 1,000-sf Pain Management Suite Renovation: $150,000. Services provided: MEP design
- 1,079-sf Pharmacy Storage Expansion: $109,000. Services provided: MEP and fire protection design
