Sever Square Phase II will provide affordable, transit-oriented housing and amenities tailored to the needs of Worcester’s Pleasant Street neighborhood. The proposed development, envisioned as a four-story, 49-unit building will provide long-term affordability for local families.

IMEG is designing the MEP/FP systems and is coordinating utilities with the project civil engineer. IMEG’s work includes unit and common space HVAC systems with VRF technology; residential, common area and elevator exhaust systems; unit and common space power; lighting, and lighting controls; parking lot lighting and power, including vehicle charging power as required; fire alarm systems; emergency and exit lighting; domestic water, sewer, storm and natural gas piping systems; domestic water heating, trash chute wash and drain systems, and freeze-proof perimeter hose valves with connections to site irrigation; and incoming fire protection services including alarm valves and backflow devices, standpipe and fire department connections, and specifications for a full-building fire protection system.
