IMEG President and CEO Paul VanDuyne received ENR Midwest’s 2023 Legacy Award at the magazine’s awards banquet Nov. 28 in Chicago. The award is presented annually to an industry veteran with years of contributions to their profession and community and a history of innovation, career achievements, and engagement.

Paul joined IMEG—then a small, Midwest firm known as KJWW—as its 16th employee in 1976. He rose to become president and CEO in 2003 and today oversees the national, employee-owned firm of more than 2,400 team members at 80 locations across the U.S. IMEG continues to expand through organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

In addition to his contributions to the firm and the engineering industry, Paul has been very involved in the Illinois-Iowa community of the Quad-Cities, where IMEG is headquartered. He has served on the boards of several local nonprofit organizations, and currently is vice president of the board of trustees for Palmer College of Chiropractic.
