Lea Cosenza named Client Executive for IMEG’s New York structural team
IMEG is pleased to announce the promotion of Lea Cosenza, P.E., to Client Executive of the New York structural engineering team. She previously directed the New York office of The Harman Group, now IMEG, where she organically grew the structural team, nearly doubling it.
Cosenza earned Bachelor (2007) and Master of Science (2009) degrees in Civil Engineering from Villanova University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Urban Land Institute, and serves on the programs committee for Commercial Real Estate Women of New York. She also is a board member of the New York Chapter of the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP).
“Lea is extremely creative and adaptive in her approach to projects and there’s no stone unturned for clients,” says her former supervisor, Jan Vacca. “As an engineer and a leader, what’s important for her is the success of the project through team collaboration. She is a huge team player and there are no challenges that she will not accept, no challenges that she will not overcome. She has a tenacious ability to succeed.”
