Mercy Medical Center has opened the Jewel & Jim Plumb Heart Center in Cedar Rapids, IA.

The 72,000-sf facility is designed for vertical expansion in the future and is planned to be Linn County’s largest heart facility, bringing heart care services under one roof. The facility will include interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac and vascular surgery, cardio-oncology, pediatric cardiology, and diagnostic teams. It also features a walking track for cardiac rehab, a respite space for patients and families, a full-service café, outdoor green space, and conference room.
