St. Joan of Arc Catholic School breaks ground in Bettendorf
St. Joan of Arc Catholic School has broken ground in Bettendorf.
The $44 million project, a combined effort of the Our Lady of Lourdes and St. John Vianney parishes, will be a 73,800-sf two-story school on a 60-acre site at the corner of Hopewell Avenue and Criswell Street.
One wing will include state-of-the-art classrooms for grades K-8, labs for science and STEM, art and music rooms and a stage, a gymnasium with bleacher seating and locker rooms, a chapel, and a 50,000-sf playground. A second wing will house infant and toddler care rooms, and pre-K classrooms for ages 3 and 4.
IMEG is providing structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services as a subconsultant to Bray Architects.
