Jonas Courthouse in Charlotte named ENR Southeast Award of Merit for Renovation/Restoration
The U.S. Courthouse Annex and Charles R. Jonas Federal Building in Charlotte, NC, has received an ENR Southeast Best Project Award of Merit for Renovation/Restoration.
The $164 million project included renovation of the 134,428-sf historic courthouse, built in 1915 as a post office, and adding a 198,000-sf eight-story annex.
IMEG led the security assessment, security systems design, and development of construction documents for the construction, as a subconsultant to Robert A.M. Stern Architects.
