A new mixed-use building in Midtown Detroit will add 57 apartments and commercial space to the neighborhood.

Greatwater Opportunity Capital is developing the project on three previously vacant parcels. The four-story, 38,916-sf building, designed by McIntosh Poris Architects, will include 33 studio apartments, 24 one-bedroom apartments, and 3,500-sf of commercial space. Twenty percent of the units will be earmarked for people earning less than 80 percent of the area’s median income.

IMEG is proving structural engineering design for the project.
