IMEG projects honored in ENR Mountain States Best Projects competition
Two IMEG projects in Colorado have won awards in ENR Mountain States 2023 Best Projects competition.
The Frisco Transit Center, Phase 2, in Frisco, CO, has won ENR Mountain States Best Government/Public Building Project. This new $4.9-million regional transportation hub serves more than 1,000 people a day and connects to major ski resorts such as Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Copper Mountain. The 3,600-sq-ft center has an expanded bus system and improved pedestrian and bike paths. IMEG provided structural engineering design. Learn more.
The Poudre School District Prototypes (pictured), in Timnath and Wellington, CO, has won ENR Mountain States K-12 Education Award of Merit. This $255.8 million project features prototype middle and high schools–built simultaneously on two separate sites. The Wellington school spans 250,000 sq ft on a 90-acre site, and the Timnath school and district stadium span 252,000 sq ft on a 115-acre site. IMEG provided MEP engineering design. Learn more.
