IMEG providing engineering design for apartment building in Detroit’s New Center development
IMEG is providing structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for a new $79 million apartment building that’s part of a $3 billion plan to develop Detroit’s New Center.
The New Center project is a collaboration among Henry Ford Health, Michigan State University, and the Detroit Pistons. It includes a $2.2 billion expansion of Henry Ford Health’s hospital campus, a medical research center developed by Henry Ford Health and Michigan State University, three residential projects, and a parking garage.
IMEG will provide engineering services for 725 Amsterdam, a new six-story apartment building. It includes retail space and 156 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments for mixed incomes.
