New Daytona Beach VA clinic earns Green Globes certification
The new $37.5 million VA clinic in Daytona Beach, Florida, has earned Green Globes certification for New Construction from the Green Building Initiative.
The facility was awarded Two Green Globes.
The Community-based outpatient clinic opened early in 2024, replacing two smaller, older VA facilities. It features treatment rooms, exam rooms, office and support spaces for isolation, primary care, mental and behavioral health, digital radiology services, biomedical engineering, pathology and laboratory medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, prosthetics and sensory aides, and specialty areas including cardiology, dermatology, eye care, audiology, podiatry, and women’s health.
IMEG provided structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology engineering design services, and construction administration, for the 129,000-sf building.
