Risk & Resilience Assessment
IMEG provided professional services to complete a Risk and Resilience Assessment (RRA) of the City’s water infrastructure in compliance with the requirements of America’s Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) of 2018.
The scope of work included preparing of reuse Emergency Response Plan (ERP’s) and certify to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that City has achieved the
requirements of the AWIA Act.
The risk assessment included assets relative to malevolent acts and natural hazards. The utilities system assets must include, but not limited to, physical infrastructure, financial infrastructure, chemicals and chemical systems, automated systems, system operations and maintenance, and capital and operation needs for risk and resilience system management.
After completion of the assessments, IMEG prepared and assisted the City with certification statement to the EPA certifying AWIA compliance for both RRA and ERP prior to December 31, 2020.
The RRA included asset and threat characterization, cyber security Risk and Resilience Assessment, analysis of consequences, vulnerability and likelihood. IMEG also included other areas of vulnerability required for completion of this work.
