FHI Studio, a mobility, engagement, planning, and design consulting firm, has joined IMEG, adding two new team locations in Connecticut and New York.

Founded in 1987, FHI Studio grew into a large dynamic, multi-discipline consulting firm with a talented team of professionals. The firm’s planners, engineers, environmental specialists, designers, and communication experts are driven by a shared passion to enhance communities and help clients advance their projects. The team serves a diverse range of markets, including municipal/government, housing, parks & recreation, and transportation.

“We are thrilled to welcome FHI Studio to IMEG,” said IMEG President/CEO Paul VanDuyne. “FHI Studio’s expertise in mobility solutions, landscape architecture, environmental planning and permitting, and public engagement strengthens our ability to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve. Our shared passion for driving positive outcomes aligns perfectly, setting the stage for powerful collaboration and continued growth.”

FHI Studio’s leadership is excited to become part of IMEG and broaden its reach. “The merger provides sustainability and growth potential for all our employees as well as our clients and teaming partners,” said Susan VanBenschoten, who served as FHI Studio CEO and is now director of IMEG’s Urban Design, Planning, and Engagement services. “IMEG’s size and expertise also allows us to expand upon the innovative approaches and results-driven solutions we deliver to our clients.”

Mike Morehouse and Ken Livingston are now client executives at IMEG, managing regional team operations out of the existing offices, while former FHI President Carla Tillery is now IMEG’s Leadership Development Coach.
