Oculus-IMEG JV, a collaboration between IMEG and Oculus Inc., has been awarded a $56 million multiyear federal contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The contract allows Oculus-IMEG JV to deliver comprehensive architect-engineering services across the Omaha and Northwest divisions. The divisions encompass Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon.

The prime contract is the first awarded to the joint venture, a mentor-protege collaboration and a certified women-owned small business. The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is for four years, with an additional three-year option.

The joint venture was formed in October 2022. Oculus is headquartered in downtown St. Louis and has six offices nationwide. IMEG has more than 2,800 employees across 100 offices, including St. Louis.

The joint venture’s first collaboration was the Daytona Beach VA Multi-Specialty Clinic, which opened in May and serves 21,000 veterans.

The services provided are expected to include design renovations and new facility designs; master planning for various federal facilities; feasibility studies; economic, market and facility allowance analysis; installation design guides; construction support services such as site investigation, parametric and cost estimates; concept and schematic designs; interior design; space planning and programming; design and construction phase commissioning services; and other construction phase services for military and civil projects.
