Two IMEG projects are featured in the Building Design + Construction’s 2025 list of amenity-rich office spaces.
The Barstool Sports office in Chicago transformed a former dairy facility into a “fun-factory” with 12 podcast and three broadcast studios, a full-sized basketball court, golf simulator, commercial kitchen, bar and kitchen area.
IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design services as a subconsultant to BKV Group.
The project was also featured in BD+C’s 2025 list of historic or adaptive reuse projects.
The ALDI U.S. corporate campus in Batavia, Ill., is a 250,000-sf renovation and expansion of three existing buildings and the construction of a fourth on its 60-acre campus. The goal is to improve operational efficiency, sustainability, and employee retention.
Features of the new building include a green roof pollinator garden, fitness center, third-party food service, and conference center. The existing buildings will be updated into an open concept design and sustainability features like energy efficient lighting and updated HVAC controls.
IMEG is providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design services for the project as a subconsultant to A M King.
