390 Madison is a 32-story office building in midtown New York City. The project included significant structural modifications, the addition of new floors, and a complete modernization of the building’s facade and interior. IMEG’s lighting design team (Illuminating Concepts) provided design services for exterior lighting, BOH, as well as the Shiseido and elevator lobbies. Our procurement team played a pivotal role in these areas and beyond, driving efficiency and excellence throughout the project.

The striking lines throughout the building inspired our lighting design approach to both accentuate the modern aesthetic while also providing a bright safe environment. As always with our approach, rigorous photometric studies were conducted to ensure we met energy efficiency targets, and renderings were provided to help deliver a look that met the client’s expectations.
