How to decide if your project needs a paralleled energy converter system

In a recent article for C&SE magazine, IMEG’s Richard Vedvik explains how to decide if an energy generation system should be paralleled and what should be part of that design.
“The growing complexity and size of mission critical buildings, like hospitals, data centers and industrial plants, has driven an increased demand for large standby power systems,” Vedvik writes. “In many cases, paralleled generator systems provide a robust solution to meet these demands in lieu of a single, large generator system.”
In the article, Vedvik makes a case for paralleled energy systems, explains load, environmental and design considerations; issues around ventilation, airflow, noise, and vibration management; and the importance of fuel storage and delivery.
