The project: IMEG provided structural and civil engineering services for the finish out and renovation of a former El Paso box store, transforming it into a new oral health clinic for the Texas Tech University College of Dentistry.

The goal: To repurpose an existing warehouse space into a fully functional dental clinic that supports education, patient care, and clinical training.

The design: The adaptive reuse project involved extensive renovations, including structural modifications to support new rooftop mechanical equipment, trenching of the existing slab-on-grade for underfloor plumbing, and the installation of overhead mechanical systems such as fire sprinklers, vacuum, compressed air, water, hydronic, and electrical distribution. The clinic features multiple clinical environments and 145 dental stations.

The outcome: A modern, fully equipped oral health clinic that enhances dental education and patient care while efficiently utilizing existing infrastructure.
