BSLA honors Warner Larson, now IMEG-designed Healey Schoolyard

The Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA) awarded the Healey Schoolyard project an Honor Award in the General Design category at its 2025 awards ceremony.
Warner Larson, now IMEG provided landscape architecture for the project, which renovated the Arthur D. Healey School in Somerville, Mass., to include a new schoolyard, new U-12 soccer field, and an ADA-accessible pathway from the schoolyard to the Mystic Housing Community.
The jury said, “This project exemplifies a vibrant and thoughtful transformation of a densely urban schoolyard into an inclusive, ecologically sensitive, and community-centered public space through thoughtful design and outreach”
