BD+C features IMEG project, The Gospel Lighthouse Church
IMEG provided structural and civil engineering for The Gospel Lighthouse Church in Oak Cliff, Texas, which was recently featured in BD+C.
The church and a second adjacent building were built in 1948 for a tent revival preacher turned radio and TV evangelist. Current owner Dream Center Dallas, a ministry that works to reduce homelessness, hunger, poverty, human trafficking, and other issues, completed the $9 million renovation in February 2025.
The article outlines the renovation, which included upgrading classrooms, offices, and meeting areas to meet ADA standards, and adding a new elevator. All the work met historic preservation standards.
