New Glarus, Wis., has broken ground on a new public library

The Village of New Glarus, Wis., has broken ground on a new 9,000-sf public library.
The new library will include expanded browsing areas, a children’s programming space, study rooms, a classroom for programs, and private workspaces.
IMEG is providing structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design and technology and architectural lighting services as a subconsultant to OPN Architects. The library is expected to open in Fall 2026.
