Five IMEG projects have been honored by the ENR West 2025 Project of the Year Award in subregion categories. One project, Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla tower II, is also a finalist for ENR West Project of the Year.  

The projects are:  

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla Tower II – ENR West Project of the Year finalist, ENR Southern California/Nevada Best Project, Healthcare 

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla Tower II is a finalist for the 2025 ENR West Project of the Year. It was previously named Best Health Care Project in the 2025 ENR West Regional Best Project Awards.  

IMEG provided medical equipment planning and procurement services and developed system-wide medical equipment standards for Scripps. The 433,000-sf, nine-story tower adds 175 beds, nine operating rooms, imaging and interventional radiology services, a clinical lab, NICU, and a women’s pavilion.

Lynnwood Link – ENR Northwest 2025 Best Project Award, Airport/Transit 

The Lynnwood Link Extension, Northgate Station to Lynnwood Transit Center, in Seattle, WA, won in the Best Airport/Transit category. The project expands light rail transportation in the Puget Sound region and is expected to service between 47,000 and 55,000 daily riders by 2026. The Lynnwood Link Extension project had four light rail stations between Northgate and the Lynwood Transit Center. IMEG provides mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, lighting design, and energy services. HNTB submitted the nomination.  

NE 8th Street Crossing Phase 2 – ENR Northwest 2025 Best Project Award, Highway/Bridge 

The NE 8th Street Crossing (Phase 2) project in Bellevue, WA, earned the ENR Northwest 2025 Project Award in the Highway/Bridge category. The 500-foot-long bridge offers safe passing for trail users and commuters and connects the Eastrail to the 2 Line light rail. Art and poetry installations honor the area’s Japanese American heritage. IMEG provided mechanical engineering for the project. Granite Construction Co. submitted the nomination. 

Comarch Data Center, Mesa, AZ – ENR Southwest, Arizona and New Mexico, 2025 Best Project Award of Merit, Manufacturing 

 The Comarch data center in Mesa, AZ, received an Award of Merit in the Manufacturing category. IMEG provided commissioning for the 32,000-sf tilt panel building with a 320-rack capacity, and Class A office space with shared office, conference rooms, and break rooms. 

The City of Henderson Fire Station #92, Henderson, NV – ENR Southern California/Nevada, 2025 Award of Merit, Government/Public Building   

The City of Henderson, Nevada, Fire Station #92 has been recognized with an ENR West – Southern California/Nevada Award of Merit in the Government/Public Building category.  

IMEG provided structural engineering for the new three-acre facility in West Henderson, designed to enhance emergency response for the fast-growing community. The station features four apparatus bays to accommodate an engine, truck, rescue, air support, and other specialty vehicles, as well as living space for up to 14 personnel to ensure 24-hour preparedness.
