The 21c Museum Hotel is the full adaptive re-use of a former YMCA in downtown St. Louis into a full-service boutique hotel, art museum, and restaurant. The project respected the historic nature of the property while creating a modern, comfortable, upscale hotel and museum. This work was like solving a puzzle for IMEG, but the project was successful because a team was assembled early in the process, and resolved many of the issues before construction began.
