The AEC M&A Toolbox: The Benefits of ESOPs in Acquisitions via the 1042 Exchange. Paul and Bill O’Brien, Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, will discuss how Employee Stock Ownership Plans and the 1042 exchange can create powerful outcomes in AEC acquisitions. The session will cover the financial, tax, and cultural advantages of ESOP structures and how they can maximize value while preserving a firm’s legacy.  

Opening Panel: Buyers Tell All: How They Are Opening Doors and Closing Deals! Paul will join Ira Starr of Long Point Capital, Casey Bello of Terracon, and moderator PSMJ President Greg Hart to contrast three successful M&A approaches.  

The AEC M&A Summit will be Feb. 18-20 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
