The SSM Health Outpatient Center in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, will receive a Top Projects Award from The Daily Reporter, recognizing the project’s design and impact.  

IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology engineering for the ambulatory surgery center, which replaced a former stand-alone emergency facility. The modern center includes eight operating rooms and flexible support spaces for multiple specialties.  

Designed through an Integrated Care Team Model, the project prioritizes patient experience, staff efficiency, and streamlined patient flow.  

Sustainability features include a 1 MW carport photovoltaic system, a 750-kW backup generator, and reclaimed wood from on-site trees.  

The project will be honored at an awards ceremony on May 7.
