IMEG providing commissioning services for Ohio Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory
IMEG is providing commissioning services for the new Ohio Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (OVDL), under construction in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The 70,000-sf, state-of-the-art facility is a significant investment in the future of Ohio agriculture.
The new laboratory will replace an existing facility in operation since the 1960s that has exceeded its testing capacity. Designed to meet current and future needs, the building will include 40% more laboratory space, updated biosecurity measures, and flexible infrastructure to support evolving diagnostic requirements. The facility will also combine laboratory and field staff into a single, energy-efficient location and provide dedicated space for emergency planning and response.
OVDL performs more than 500,000 tests annually and serves as the first line of defense in detecting foreign animal diseases, supporting veterinarians, livestock producers, and agribusinesses across the state and beyond.
IMEG’s commissioning services will help ensure that building systems run as intended, supporting safety, efficiency, and long-term performance for this critical facility.
