The renovation project at John W. North High School in Riverside, CA, has received Learning by Design Magazine’s Spring 2026 “Outstanding Project” Award in the Unbuilt Project in Progress category.

The project transformed the historic campus with the addition of a two-story science building, a competition gymnasium, enhanced campus entrances, outdoor learning environments, shaded student gathering spaces, and revitalized landscaping.
