Through a combination of water conservation landscaping, grading, and reclaimed water use, IMEG helped the City of Diamond Bar reach its goal of minimizing water consumption for the South Pointe residential development.

Working for Lennar Homes and in conjunction with The City of Diamond Bar Department of Public Works, IMEG prepared technical plans, specifications, and bid documents for rough and precise grading, as well as public improvements for the South Pointe Development (Tract 63623).

Rough grading operation for this project required IMEG to provide assistance in the geogrid design and soil retention retaining walls necessary for slope stabilization. IMEG also provided design for terrace drain, storm drain interception, and the site’s storm drain system. Processing and permitting was completed through both the City of Diamond Bar Department of Public Works and the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works Land Development and Permit Divisions.

The project specifications were prepared based on the City’s requirements, as well as the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction “Greenbook.” IMEG also prepared engineering estimates for bonding purposes and construction observation services to the project.

The project grading and infrastructure improvements were all completed with no changes to the original plans. Final home construction and precise grading for individual lots are complete.
