IMEG ranks in Top 20 on ENR’s Top 100 Green Design Firms
IMEG is in the Top 20 of ENR magazine’s Top 100 Green Design Firms for the second year in a row.
Companies are ranked according to revenue for construction or design services generated in the previous year from projects that have been registered with or certified by a third-party organization that sets standards for measuring a building’s or facility’s environmental impact, energy efficiency, or carbon footprint.
IMEG’s revenue from such projects in 2025 placed the firm at #19 on the 2026 list.
“IMEG’s second consecutive year among the Top 20 green firms reflects our commitment to integrating sustainability into building design,” said Adam McMillen, IMEG Director of Sustainability. “In addition, our Whole Carbon Action Plan for 2026 aligns our sustainability goals with all our core engineering disciplines—further strengthening our mission to create positive outcomes for people, communities, and the planet.”
IMEG has more than 250 employees accredited in green certification systems. The firm also actively pursues measures to reduce the operational and embodied carbon in all its projects and has committed to industry-wide decarbonization initiatives including SE 2050, the AIA 2030 Commitment, and the National Academy of Medicine Action Collaborative on Decarbonizing the U.S. Health Sector. The firm is also a founding member of the Carbon Leadership Forum’s MEP 2040 Challenge.
