IMEG provided engineering design for an adaptive reuse of an existing building to serve as Nippon Seiki International’s North American headquarters and test facility. NSI is a manufacturer of automotive “heads-up” display systems.

Engineers provided mechanical, electrical, Lab Equipment Process Integration, and Lab Equipment Relocation design. Renovated spaces included open office areas, conference rooms, training rooms, reception/lobby, lounge, cafeteria/multi-purpose room, kitchenettes, and shipping and receiving. Lab spaces included:

  • Electronic Development Testing
  • Quality Lab
  • Hardware Lab
  • Debug and Validation
  • Prototype Build

Key systems included chilled and tower water; compressed air; storm, sanitary, and domestic water; primary and secondary power, and emergency power generation.

IMEG worked collaboratively with the owner, architect and user groups to ensure all needs and goals were met on the project, which renovated a total of 150,000 sf.
