IMEG provided engineering and design services for infrastructure master plan development to support new construction and renovation projects on El Camino College’s campus. The project included evaluating the current infrastructure and utilities through onsite observation and reviewing of available as-built information to develop a comprehensive assessment of existing conditions.

Once the master plan was completed, IMEG provided design services for facilitating all street improvements, including the widening of interior roadways for fire access. Engineers also designed a new central utility plant with new hot and chilled water lines, separation of domestic and fire water lines, storm sewer system, electrical distribution and all wet and dry connections to existing and anticipated new buildings.

Renovations were also provided to the campus tennis courts and softball, baseball, and soccer fields.

IMEG also managed the permitting and approval process with the County of Los Angeles, City of Torrance and the State of California Division of the State Architect (DSA).
