IMEG provided structural engineering design services for the new South Region Elementary School #9 using BIM software. The project was designed using CHPS sustainable design standards, which are similar to LEED Certification standards. The campus includes 26 classrooms in a new, three-story building, along with a library and administration offices. The classroom building features ample secondary spaces on the upper floors that include teacher workrooms, speech therapy rooms, and resource specialist classrooms. The multi-purpose building, adjacent to the classroom building, includes a kitchen, staff lunchroom, and a covered outdoor lunch area.
