Corey Gaarde, FHIMSS, CPHIMS, has joined IMEG as an associate principal and project executive for the medical equipment and healthcare technology planning team. He is a biomedical engineer with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare information technology advisory services.
His expertise includes IT leadership for large health systems while becoming a trusted advisor for integrated healthcare delivery networks; academic, community, and critical access hospitals; and biomedical/medical device companies. He specializes in strategic planning and execution of solutions relating to facility design, clinical collaboration and communication, patient engagement, workflow development, telemedicine, and medical device integration. His broad experience has been instrumental in architecting, envisioning, and activating health information technology (HIT) strategies to support over 15 million square feet of new patient care, diagnostics, academic, research, and business/operational spaces.
As project executive, Corey will serve as a liaison between clinical and operational end users, IT, and the design and construction teams, challenging traditional methods to advance patient care while leveraging technology. He will work with vendors, design teams, and owners to maximize technology and align clinical vision and patient care outcomes.
