The historic renovation of January Hall at Washington University in St. Louis won an ASHRAE Technology Award from the ASHRAE St. Louis Chapter. IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology engineering design and services for the 30,000-sf renovation – the first major construction project in the historic building. 

The project was completed in a compressed eight-month time frame while meeting the university’s goal of becoming 20 percent more energy efficient. The building is also targeting LEED Gold certification but has the potential to achieve LEED Platinum.
