The $45 million renovation and expansion of the War Memorial Auditorium includes two (2) ice rinks, a Panther’s practice facility, indoor facilities for community youth sports and a 3,000-seat concert venue. The project is located on the western end of 93-acre Holiday Park in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

The existing War Memorial Auditorium received 32,000-sf of renovations with a 5,000-sf addition, and will continue to operate as an auditorium or concert venue. The single-story addition serves as a loading and back of house space for the auditorium.

The 60,000-sf community rink building is a pre-engineered system with foundation footing that will serve community-based programs as well as the training and practice facility for the Florida Panthers.

A 12,000-sf link building is the primary entrance for the community center and the connection between the existing auditorium/training facility.

The 80,000-sf training facility consists of a conventionally framed two-story structure connected to the ice rink building.
