IMEG provided MEP engineering services for the renovation of Chesterfield Towne Center Mall. The project included three separate renovation projects within the mall.

  • The common mall area renovation (150,000-sf) included replacement of lighting in all common areas and food court. This included upgrades to the seating areas in the mall and food court with power and charging stations. Additionally, wet and dry utilities were provided to kiosks and RMUs.
  • The restaurant row development (11,500-sf) included shell and core fit-out for three new future restaurant tenants.
  • The mall office renovation (5,000-sf) included demolition of the existing mall office building and renovation of an area inside the mall for a new mall office. This included relocating the generator and fire pump, serving the mall, from the demolished mall office building to a new utility area.

Chesterfield Towne Center is an enclosed shopping mall and originally opened in 1975. It features five anchor stores: At Home, JCPenney, Macy’s, Sears and a combination TJ Maxx/HomeGoods.
