New Mixed-use Hospitality Development
IMEG provided structural engineering and design services for the Yellowstone Club – The Village, a 475,000-sf, new mixed-use hospitality development in Big Sky. The project consists of 48 ultra-luxurious residences, a spa, pool, fitness area, restaurants, and full-skier service facilities located at Yellowstone Club, a world-class private resort in southwest Montana. Structural steel and post-tensioned concrete slabs supported on precast, pre-stressed concrete beams that are supported on concrete columns are used as the primary structural system. The lateral load-resisting system utilizes cast-in-place concrete shear walls. The site is situated on mountainous terrain at an elevation of 7,200-ft and is approximately 20 miles away from the Yellowstone National Park boundary.
