IMEG-designed community wins four awards
The Miralon community in Palm Springs, CA, has won multiple grand awards and an award of merit from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference’s (PCBC) 58th Annual Golden Nugget Awards, which recognizes community improvement through exceptional concepts in design, planning, and development. IMEG provided civil and fire protection design for the 309-acre Miralon community, which was formerly an 18-hole golf course.
The new agrihood community is modeled around sustainability and healthy living and features 97 acres of open space, parks, trails, gardens, and groves, including a 70-acre olive grove. The design also includes a 12,000-sf clubhouse and plans for 1,150 residences (each with solar applications).
The project received the following awards:
- Grand Award for Best Community Land Plan
- Grand Award for Best Landscape Architecture for a Community
- Grand Award for Best Community Pivot
- Award of Merit for Best Community Amenity
