Phil De La Mare is a senior structural engineer with Mendenhall Smith | now IMEG. He has worked for over 30 years in the structural engineering field within all facets of building design. His experience also includes forensic investigation and existing structural analysis through code prescribed ASCE 41-17 procedures. He has been a member of a FEMA search and rescue team and spent time investigating structures in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
