IMEG whitepaper outlines key infrastructure factors of VA EHRM projects
IMEG’s latest whitepaper provides a high-level look at critical design considerations and strategies applicable to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs EHRM initiatives.
“VA Electronic Health Record: Key Infrastructure Considerations for Modernization Projects,” examines not only technology design but also mechanical and electrical design issues that often accompany EHRM projects.
Once complete in 2028, the VA EHRM will have delivered one of the most advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems in the country, providing doctors and staff with a robust, centralized platform for storing and retrieving patient medical information worldwide. The $16.1 billion initiative began implementation in 2020 and is being conducted through individual, campus-specific projects.
The IMEG authors draw on their experiences and lessons learned from the firm’s many VA EHRM projects currently in design.
