Three IMEG-designed projects win Top Projects Awards
IMEG provided engineering design and services for three projects that recently received The Daily Reporter Top Projects awards. The awards recognized outstanding achievements by Wisconsin builders, owners, engineers, and architects. The projects are:
- UW-Madison’s Witte Residence Hall renovation and addition. This project renovated an expanded the hall core, first floor, and basement area to accommodate three new elevators for each 10-story wing. Common spaces (floor lounges, study space and kitchenettes) and bathrooms were also renovated and MEP systems were replaced and upgraded. IMEG provided MEP, fire protection, technology, and security design.
- UW-Madison’s Meat Science and Animal Biologics Discovery building. The new building includes a USDA-certified meat and poultry processing plant, BSL-2 laboratories, offices, conference room, teaching spaces, and retail shop. IMEG provided mechanical and technology engineering and design.
- Verona High School. The new 585,000-sf high school provides space for academic programs such as technical education, engineering, bio-med, and agriculture, and also features a performing arts center, visual arts suite, athletic field house, eight-lane swimming pool, outdoor learning environments, and a football stadium. IMEG provided MEP, fire protection, technology, and security design.
