Ed Gharibans, PE, SE, is IMEG’s Vice President of Structural Market Development and an executive principal. He has been practicing structural engineering for more than 30 years.
As Vice President of Structural Market Development, Ed focuses on strengthening IMEG’s presence in the structural market across the country, leveraging his experience and industry relationships to drive continued growth across the firm’s entire structural group.
Ed earned his master’s degree in structural engineering from Loyola Marymount University and is a Professional Engineer registered in California, Nevada, and Oregon. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a member of Structural Engineers Association of Southern California and the American Concrete Institute. He also sits on the code advisory committee of the California Building Standards Commission. His design experience includes new schools, libraries, laboratories, and student housing complexes. He also has worked on multiple seismic evaluation projects, infrastructure upgrades, and the renovation/remodeling of existing buildings.
