Mike brings over 30 years of experience in transportation engineering, master planning, urban design, and equitable engagement to communities of all sizes. Mike has managed numerous large-scale, multi-modal and multi-disciplinary transportation studies for state DOT’s Regional Planning Agencies and municipalities.  He has extensive experience dealing with complex technical issues while developing visionary and consensus-based solutions for his clients.  He has a thorough understanding of the relationships between land use and transportation and is an advocate for sustainable transportation systems that prioritize safety and livability.  Mike has both technical proficiency and broad-based planning and decision-making skills to support the development of reasonable and implementable solutions for transportation and community design projects.

Mike’s expertise includes multimodal planning, Complete Streets policy and design, safety engineering, urban circulation plans, parking management, and urban design. Mike is a licensed Professional Engineer in CT. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
