ASCE names IMEG engineer a Top 10 ‘New Face’

IMEG’s Autumn Buesking has been named by the American Society of Civil Engineering as one of the ASCE 2025 New Faces of Civil Engineering—Professional. One of 10 recipients of the national award, Autumn and the other under-30 honorees were chosen for their community service work, organizational leadership, communication skills, and industry involvement.
“These talented young engineers represent the best of what the industry is now and promise even greater things for the future,” states the ASCE.
Autumn is a structural designer and joined IMEG in 2022 following graduation from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Explosive Engineering. She serves as secretary of her local ASCE chapter and secretary of the Structural Engineering Institute’s Young Professional Engagement Committee. She also volunteers for Junior Achievement, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and is a member of the Quad Cities United Way Emerging Leaders.
“Ten years from now I want to be known as someone who transitioned well from being a young leader to a professional leader in the industry,” Autumn says. “But I don’t want to limit myself to a specific path. I want to be able to grow as needed. I want to be on the front lines, paving the way for what the future will look like.”
